The idea for Vedic Valley was conceived by the Vedic Master Anand and his wife Akasha who shared their vision to create a natural place with a harmonic atmosphere for ancient authentic teachings for those who seek a healthy and conscious lifestyle.
About the Vedic Master Anand and his wife Akasha
Pandit Anand Acharya Semalty was born into a Gaur Brahmin family of Bharadwaja Gotra from Badrinath in Himalaya, descents from the great sage Bharadwaja Maharishi of Vedic Period. Since childhood he has been studying the Vedas at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi and post graduated his mastery in Viakaran (Sanskrit Grammar) and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) with the honorific title Acharya (a scholar who practice what he teaches). From his grandfather Sri Pandit Gyandev Semalty who self was the Adviser and Astrologer of the Maharaja of Tehri-Gahrwal, he received deeper knowledge about Astrology and Palmistry. And his Father Sri Pandit Purushottam Dutt Semalty introduced him into Vedic Rituals and Tantra. The traditional and intense practice and realization of Yoga, Mudra and Meditation he achieved from Yogis in the Himalayas. He speaks fluent in Sanskrit, Hindi, English and German languages.
His wife Akasha Semalty studied jewelry design in Austria and followed her heart to India where she received a traditional education about Ayurveda and Vastu Shastra – the Vedic Science of harmonizing space. At Vedic Valley she leads Ayurvedic Cooking Courses and shares her secrets to better health. Also she planned the entire design of Vedic Valley based on the Vedic architecture – Vastu Vidya, making this place truly at peace with its surrounding.
Vedic Valley fulfilled a long shared dream of Anand and Akasha to accomplish the Vedic saying “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” – “the world is one family”, to welcome you and becoming a part of Vedic Valley.
